A downloadable game for Windows

Nocturne is a survival horror game designed to immerse players in relentless tension and sudden terror. You awaken in a labyrinth of shadowed corridors, where silence is broken only by your own footsteps and the distant growl of Subject Zero — a creature that hunts by sight and sound. Every decision matters, every misstep echoes, and every encounter could be your last.

Unlike traditional horror games that rely on resource management, Nocturne strips away distractions to focus on pure atmosphere. Your torch burns eternally, casting a fragile circle of light into the darkness. It offers comfort, but not safety — the monster is always listening, always watching, and always closing in.

The game’s heartbeat system makes survival brutally simple: you have only a few chances to escape. Layered sounds, violent screen effects, and the monster filling your vision in a shocking climax.

Nocturne blends minimalist mechanics with psychological dread:

  • Dynamic AI that stalks, searches, and chases depending on your noise and visibility.
  • Atmospheric lighting that keeps the world oppressive yet navigable.
  • Layered jumpscare system that escalates fear when you’re most vulnerable.
  • Minimal HUD so nothing distracts from the creeping dread.

This is not a game about fighting back. It’s about surviving long enough to escape the dark — or being consumed by it.

Step carefully. Listen closely. And remember: the torch may light your path, but it cannot save you from what lurks in the shadows.
